Designed for ages 7–11, this project-based camp is all about sparking creativity through technology and engineering. Campers will dive into fun, age-appropriate builds and challenges that inspire curiosity, problem-solving, and a love of making.
Day 1: Maker Mindset & Mini Builds
Morning: Welcome activities, team challenges, and intro to tools
Afternoon: Mini maker projects (3D pen name tags, craft stick bridges)
Day 2: Circuits & Soldering Basics
Morning: Learn about simple circuits using LED cards, copper tape, and batteries
Afternoon: Safe soldering intro — make a light-up badge or bracelet
Day 3: Design & Print in 3D
Morning: Introduction to 3D printing – how it works and what it’s used for
Afternoon: Intro to beginner-friendly design software (use Thingiverse Tinkercad)
Day 4: Build-A-Bot Challenge
Morning: Intro to coding with block-based platforms
Afternoon: Code and test pre-built bots (CuteBots and CoDrones EDU)
Day 5: Engineering Showcase Day
Morning: Final build time and testing
Afternoon: Family showcase – campers present projects and demos
